Quraan is an app for reading and listening to the Holy Quraan. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: it does not collect any.

Information we collect

None. The app has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. We do not collect, store or share personal information.

Information stored on your device

Your bookmarks, the page you last read, your settings (theme, text size, chosen reciter) and any recitation you download are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and they are removed when you uninstall the app.

Internet use

Reading the Quraan and its translation works without an internet connection. The app connects to the internet only when you play or download recitation. Those audio files are fetched from EveryAyah (everyayah.com). As with any website, that server receives your device's IP address in order to deliver the files. The app sends it nothing else.

Permissions

• Internet: to stream or download recitation.
• Foreground service and wake lock: to keep recitation playing while the screen is off or the app is in the background.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
